My name is Cenis Reveron. I am a widow.I am from Colombia. I was born in Cartagena. I have two children one son and one daughter.We have lived in the United States for nine years. I study English at Miami Dade College. I live with my father, my mother and my children. I have my own apartment. I work at night, and I go to school in the morning. I hope to learn English fluently because I want to go to College and become a Radiology Technician. I work at Palm Spring General Hospital. My hobbies are to sew and to go to the movies.

Hi!. I would like to try to introduce myself. My name is Johana Alfonso Mendez, but my friends and family call me Joha. I was born in Havana, Cuba. I came to the U.S four years ago with my mom. We came to Hialeah, where my aunt and uncle live. I finished my High School Degree in Hialeah High School, and four months after that, I graduated from High School. I had different type of jobs as saleswoman, waitress etc. I work in Polo Norte that is a Cuban restaurant now. I miss my country and my family, but I felt good here because I know that I will have a better future. I'm still living with my aunt and my uncle, but I'm planning to move with my mom. I'm studying English in Miami Dade College, Hialeah Campus. I hope to go to a Police Academy to be a policewoman. I love to travel around the world because I like to learn about different cultures and people. My hobbies are watching TV, clubbing, dancing, and going to the beach. That's all!

Hello my name is Josefina Reyes. I am over 35 years-old. I have two children. I've been living in Florida since 1994. I was born in Dominican Republic, I decided to came here for better future. As soon as I got here, I decided to study cosmetology  in a Beauty School and then I get my licence of Cosmetology. I've been working as a beautician since that time. I return to College in order to achieve a goal, to become a Occupational Therapist. On my free time I like to read and spend time with my children. Hi, my name is Amalia, I am 20 years old. I'm from La Habana, Cuba. I have been living here for almost 6 years. I have a two year old daughter and a wonderful husband. I am going to tell you a little bit more about my personality, interests, and my goals. First of all ,I consider myself as a good person ,very sociable and amusing. All my friends can say that I'm very confident and dedicated to my family. Second, when I have free time I spend my time watching TV and one of my favorite movie is called "The Notebook". Also one of my favorite time is when I make the dinner for me and my family but I prefer go out for dinner and eat in somewhere else, who don't prefer that, right?. I love restaurants and nice places like Bayside, and Vizcaya. Some day I will like to travel all over the world, that's one of my dreams. Last summer I went to Cuba to visite my mother in law. She met for first time my daughter Analia. She was so happy that I could not stop mourn. In third place, I want to mention that one of my goals is  to finish my career and have another child. I'm planning to be a social worker because I really enjoy helping others to suceed in their life. In my second month here, I began in a massage school and I have already graduated from there. Now, I work as a massage therapist in a clinic. I don't like to practice any sport, but I execise in the gym with my mother. I want to be a nurse like my aunt. I don't work yet, but I wan't to find a job to help my mother. Hello, My name is Surelys Martinez and I from Cuba. In my country I studied computer programming at the University. It was one of the most special moments in my life, because I had a lot of friend, I met my boyfriend and I was very happy with my career. I spent 4 years at the University but I didn't graduate, because I came ti this country. The beginning was really hard to me; I had to face a new culture, different customs and another way to see life. However the most difficult thing that I had to face was leave part of my family in Cuba.
