Summer vs Winter

Summer and winter usually are the two favorite seasons for most of the people. However, there are some big differences between these two seasons. First of all, the most important difference is the weather and the extreme temperatures. For instance, you can wear less clothes in summer because is warm and sunny, but in winter, you need to wear warm clothes because the temperatures are so low. The other big difference is the kind of sports that people usually play in each of these seasons. For example, whereas in summer people go swimming, go to the beach, or sunbathe; in winter, people enjoy going ice skating, skiing, or playing with snowballs. The final big difference between these two seasons is the number of days off used for vacation. A clear example of this is that in summer people can plan long trips for vacation; while in winter, people take just short trips to visit their relatives. In brief, for all these characteristics, summer and winter have clear differences with one another.
