" My Visa "



February



               In 2001, I will never forget all the appointments that my family had in order to obtain the visas to travel to the United States. First all, my husband, my son and I went to the first appointment in February. In that appointment the consul only gave my husband the visa. We felt very sad, but we had hope.

                                            

  

      That day, the embassy gave us a next interview to determine the visas for my son and me. Then after two weeks, we went to expected interview at the embassy.

I remember that day there were a lot of people waiting outside of the embassy.

                                                  





In the interview, we were happy because that day the consul approved our visas. But the visas would be delivered in a week. Finally, my son and I went to pick up the visas.

          

Then the next day, I was able to get a tickers to travel to Miami where our family lived. In conclusions, I considered that I had several appointments to go to the embassy to obtain the visa.
